Catching up after 7 long years, dont know where to start .
We are now located in the Niobrara River valley north central Nebraska. And we now raise exclusively the BEAUTIFUL AMERICAN OBERHASLI
Why the American Oberhasli? Because in my opinion they are simply the BEST!!!
They are natural born milkers.. each and everyone that has blessed my farm I have loved.. even the ones that were born here naturally went to the milk stand with an inborn willingness to allow themselves to be milked without problems.. I've never had to "train" one to milk yet. They give large amounts of great tasting milk!! They are a hardy breed unlike some of their cousins. Friendly love attention, smaller then other dairy breeds with the exception of the Nigerian Dwarf. Their rich bay color pattern is something I've always enjoyed and because they are all basically the same color I can now focus on more important things like conformation, mammary, and production!
And the occasional LGD pups
We are active members of the American Dairy Goat Association we practice Linear Appraisal and DHIR we are also an annual testing herd. We a enjoy showing and will attend The Nebraska State Fair, adding as many other shows as money and time allows.
